With your HELP there is HOPE for the Children!
We were formed for the purpose of improving the quality of life for children suffering from cancer. Some with little hope of ever reaching their teenage years.
As needs change, we are there to develop and implement new programs to help today's youth. We are here to listen to and learn what their changing needs are. We will support, offer guidance, and assist all of the young people, for they will soon be our future. Preventing poverty before it happens to a family by offering temporary assistance of food, clothing, and more.
We've been serving children and their families for over 13 years. We are a non-profit charity, based in New Jersey and registered with the IRS and NJ Attorney General.
Cancer remains one of the leading causes of death among children in the United States. Thousands of young children are diagnosed with cancer in this country alone each year, and these numbers are steadily on the rise.
We are dedicated to collaborating with hospitals, medical centers and other children’s organizations to identify those families most distressed financially as a direct result of the child’s malignancy in order to assist them with medical bills, treatments, equipment, transportation needs and other overwhelming household expenses.
We help ill and disadvantaged children and their families regardless of race, creed or religion. We rely strictly on public support to make our programs successful.

The majority of our funds are raised through our Auto Donation Program
Automobile donationsare still a very popular way to help charity. Car donation NJ account for the majority of our fundraising efforts. With over 10 years experience with the Donate My Car campaign, the American Children's Society, Inc, is clearly at an advantage over charities that do not maintain their own program. By keeping the vehicle donation program in-house, and not outsourcing any of the work, we are able to retain higher contributions. We also have a vehicle assistance program where the donated automobiles are given to or sold at a discount to needy families. If you do not live in a city, you need a car. For those that can not afford a vehicle, our program helps to get them on their way to work.
We accept automobile donations nationwide, our Donate A Car for Kids program can make donating your car very easy. Our cars for kids program has helped families all across the USA! Please see our YouTube channel here Or view our page on how vehicle donations have helped families in need here.
